Too often these days kids about the ages between 12-18 are posting stupid things online about other people or themselves. Do you ever think about the ramifications? What might happen to you ?. So I urge you to think about what your going to post and where exactly you are posting it.

If you posted something disrespectful about someone imagine how hurt they will feel. You need to remember to put yourself in their shoes , think how they would feel if you told all of your friend's on Facebook. So just remember to always think how other would feel if they saw that.

I encourage you to only do the appropriate things online, because later on in life it could come back to bite you. But If you were to apply for a job, future employers would like to see positive footprint if they search your name, and not the other.

So be really cautious and always think about the consequences, and what might happen.

As the wind blew, my teeth chattered in a back and forth motion. It was as If a ghost just passed through my body. “AAGH” I muttered as I shivered. “ I wish I was back at home asleep”!

The wind blew so fast that it swept me off my feet. I was not able to maintain my ground. Falling to the ground it was as if I just collapased on to rock hard cement. Not even my jacket could comfort me.

Hook- My Racket swerved through the air as I played my first shot of the day in this new experience. I was nervous, but in the blink of an eye it was over, my first shot was a success. I thought to myself “king of the court”, I was so cocky. Then Nek minnit I was gone.

Para 1- “ Are we done yet” I groaned to myself as our tennis tutor rambled on about the forearm shot. “Its supposed to glide through the wind” He explained. I kept saying to myself be patent Kayde, it will be over soon. I needed to learn these shots to succeed .Like my Dad always said “ You wont go far in life with your ears painted on”.

Para 2- A challenge was laid out on the plate from our tennis teacher. The challenge was to hit the as many times as you could with out making touch the ground. I thought, ohh piece of cake! Its actually not as easy as it looks or sounds. “BANG,BANG” The sounds of the ball hitting the racket then going on to hit the pavement. “ Ohh it can’t get any worse then that. “WWWWW” The whistle blew. I thought “Hmm whats next”.

Para 3- There’s a saying in life practise, practise, practise makes you perfect. Luckily that was the case for me as our tutor dished out another challenge for us. With the ball hit it with the racket on the sides as much times as you can again with out making it fall to the ground. A new record for me was set when, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, hits of the ball I done before hitting the hard concrete ground. “Bring on the next challenge!”

Para 4- “YEAH BUDDY”, the tennis tournament began, and I was over the moon to have it started! All the skills that we had learnt would be put to use. The forearm shot. My real challenge was Matthew, aka (our class clown). We twisted and turned as the ball was fired at each other, fluke shots were being pulled of until. Gone, I hadn’t kept my on the ball, and just like that the ball flew past my waist. “
NO!” I screamed.

“BOOYAAH!” In Rotorua once again.“ Time to see the cuzzies “ I said to my mum. “not yet” she replied. Nan’s expecting us any minute to arrive.

So upon our arrival, we popped in to see our nan, who recently moved down there from Auckland, just to say hello. Because she lives in a place with thermal ground we, the kids took a walk around Ohinemotu while the adults had a cuppa.

Along the way we saw some boiling ngawha pools and some beautiful carved marae. There was about three marae, Tuno Hopu my marae, Tama Te Kapua and Tiki. If your not one of those people who are unlucky to sight see Rotorua , a ngawha pool is a VERY HOT pool that can scold you to death, and also a bath. As long as you add cold water. And a marae is a place that you hold funerals and maybe an opening of something. “Time to go”Said my mum.

Arriving at my dads house I parked my but in front of the tv and watched a smashing of the kiwis from the Australian kangaroos in the four Nations warm up. Try after Try for Australia and it looked in doubt for the kiwis until kiwi young gun Kevin Locke scored. making the 24-6. But again another try to Aussie until they reached 48-6 the final score. Aussie with a victory. Australia wasn’t only playing for a spot in the four nations, but for rugby league immortal, Darren Lockyer.

Going to my aunties house was a bit scary because her daughters dislike me. I over came that and got along with them very well. After an imaginary shoot out with my cousin Taine and brother Gabriel we tried to get the lawn mower started to do my aunty a favour. After two pulls it started up and we were under way. Row after row we mowed and the look on her and my mum’s face was amazing. We were so tired, so a sleep over was under way.

“Nah, I want that pillow” My little cousin said as they fought over the pillows. I just wanted to get out of there, but as long as my mum and aunty went to the fish and chip shop we couldn’t leave. So me and my cousin, Taine set up an imaginative boat to keep the little kids occupied. “Watched out ahead, To the side, there’s shark after shark.” Screamed the crew of the fordblock boat. With a loud scream it was over, we had been defeated. As the saying goes, When your having fun, time flies!

RWC 2011 CHAMPS!!!!

All Blacks the 61,000 fans of Eden Park chanted as Richie McCaw raised the William Webb Ellis cup. For me I am proud to be a kiwi at this stage, I am still speechless after a tight RWC 2011 final Beating France 8-7. Sadly for France this was the third time being runners up in the World cup and for NZ the second time lifting the cup. Now in four years they ( THE ALL BLACKS ) will need to overcome England and win the 2015 RWC!! Good on the boys!

Third in five years. This is the stat of the Manly Sea-Eagles Grand final record in the past decade. Tears for the Vodafone Warriors and Celebrations for the Manly Sea-Eagles, Defeating the vodafone warriors 24-10 in the Nrl grand final in front of 81,988 people.

Scoreless or twenty minutes, the NRL's biggest stage. The Warriors were first to score after a penalty kick from Fly half James Maloney. 2-0 to the visitors. But a hit back from the favourites, an inside ball to Stewart and Brett Stewart scores, And the try is converted. 6-2 to Manly. "Oh and a kick ahead by Bretts brother Glen, Robertson gets the ball, runs up the field about 50 metres, offloads to Ballin and Ballin is tackled by Sam Rapira. But a quick play and Dlay Cherry-Evans is in to score for Manly, and is converted." 12-2 to Manly in the Shadows of Half time. Final Score 24-10 to Manly.

hook-A different day tomorrow? I asked myself as Mrs Nua, Our class teacher announced. We were to bring along to school with us, a change of clothes and maybe a towel. I was thinking why a towel, why a change of clothes? So After school I ran home eager to find out what was going to happen.
orientation- “I never knew that we could have this much fun at school apart from morning and lunch time!” There was a glamouris feeling among the intermediate block of the school walking down to the bottom field. The games had began, It felt like we were representing our countries at the London 2012 olympics.
para 1-So it would seem that we were obviesly playing games. I said to myself, “YAH” This was the first time that we had done something fun, out of the Ordinary. That is if you take out our Term 1 camping experience. Up to this point of the week I was more excited, not only because we were playing games but also having fun.
para 2-As our class lined up ready to have some fun, I noticed in the corner about 6-8 buckets stacked up. I thought that after this sight we were just bound to play at least one water game. We hit the bottom field with excitement ready to play some games. After the first game me and several other class mates were soaked in water from our first game with Miss Nua. I was dreading myself saying NO,NO,NO. This was a Brand new warriors shirt I was wearing. Well there’s a lesson to be learned, never wear brand new clothes for something you will get dirty in.
para 3-No Offense to my teacher Miss Nua, But this was when the fun kicked in! I still don’t know what this game is called, but in a way it is similar to dodge ball so I am going to call it ‘DODGE THE BALL’. Here are the rules. Two teams on the court at once, and one team has to run inside the limited space that they have while the other team has to try and hit you with the ball. Here’s the twist, the team that is holding the ball can’t move, all they can do is chuck the ball to their other team mates and touch the opposing team with the ball.
para 4-At this rate i had a feeling that we were going to win our first match of dodge the ball in style. Five out of seven of our people survived while we ran around. The other two people we recogonized them as the WEAK LINKS. Back to the game Already four of the seven people in the other team had been hit and gone. three to go! We won convincingly. There was also two other games played, but if I explained them this story would go on and on about how fun and cool they played out.
conclusion-If I were to write a 1000 word writing sample about the highlights of there year this experience would defiantly in it. So please Mrs Nua , Can we do this again.

RWC Samoa vs Namibia

Tonight, although Namibia is ranked last in the RWC 2011, they will face a fiery Samoan team. Samoa will play their first game of the RWC tonight on the 14-09-11. Namibia last week put up a VERY GOOD fight against ts Fiji in Rotorua sadly going down 49-25. At one stage of the game Namibia looked like winning. The score I predict for tonights game is 35-20 to Samoa.

Aussie rules/kiwi kick

“OUCH!!!!!” I found out that you have to have a pretty stiff and hard hand to hit an AFL ball. My hand was as red as anything, ready to burst with blood. But AMAZINGLY the pain was worth it. Us and room 9 were in the hall learning how to play Aussie rule or (kiwi kick). You probably don’t know what this is, so I’ll run you through the basics.

Aussie rules is a sport that is played similar to the game of rugby. So here are three basic rules. Rule number one, When you pass the ball in AFL you have got to hold it in on hand and then hit it. If not you will be penalised. Number two, You can only run a limited space of 15 metres before you have to bounce the ball. And last but not least rule number three. There are three posts, to score a goal you have to kick the ball. You can kick the ball in the Air and along the ground. If you kick the ball between the middle post you will score six points and if between the side ones, one point.

This technique is called hand ball next week or it stops raining we will go out side and learn how to drop put the ball it also is another unique skill that might only be used in this game. But what made the game a even better experience was that we where playing with students from room 9. In the end we had a quick group challenge we had to pass the ball to everyone in our group and every time someone caught it that was counted as one point the most points someone got for just 2 people was 72.

"HUFF.....A.....PUFF" The hard worked boys groaned as we approached level six of our intense beep test. I had high aspirations to beat my all time record of level 16 stage 7. But that probably wasn't going to happen. My legs were pushed to their BREAKING POINT as we reached the sixth stage. I felt like giving up as the time got narrow and more faster to try and complete. " YAH!" I thought as I reached the seventh stage. I honestly felt like giving up. I thought of a saying..."NO PAIN, NO GAIN". Sadly in the end I just had to give in. My finishing position, level seven stage two.

For me to get better at our next beep test at the end of the term I need to get more involved at my rugby league trainings and start testing myself to do harder things.

Leading into the Tri nations and also the RWC ( rugby world cup ) There is always going to be a battle between the three top rugby nations in the world!!! New Zealand, Australia and also South Africa. And as well as that the three fly halfs. For New Zealand Daniel Carter, for Australia Quade Cooper and also for South Africa, Morne Steyn!!

Every year there is a MOUTH-WATERING clash between the Five-eights!! As many people know they just wont control the ruck but also get those vital Goal kicks!!! But If i were to go for a team, I would support the All Blacks. Not only because I'm from New Zealand but I think Daniel Carter and Richie McCaw will dominate with their experience and bring the bacon home. " GO THE ALL BLACKS "

Term 2 recap!!

This term I have really been in and out. By that I mean good at times and bad at times. Also this term has been AMAZING how we learnt about our term 2 topic bigger,better,faster and stronger! We had a chance to study five words that each teacher of our team 5 had, Discovery ( Miss Nua ), Creativity ( Miss Tito ), Imagination ( Miss Lagitupu ) Innovate ( Mr Harris ) and Practicality ( Mr Barks ). The word I was really wanting to keep on studying about practicality!!! This word means that you can take stuff and make them better, for example. When Leo Nardo Divinci found a pair of blunt scissors, and instead of throwing them away he kept them, and to this day there are different types of scissors!

What I am looking froward to next term is one, our new topic, two switching on in class and three.. UM... HAVING FUN!!

Football inventions!!!!

…..RUGBY BALL Invention.....

Richard Lindon and William Gilbert who lived in the late 17th century and the mid 18th century created rugby balls for there class. Mainly out of hand stitched, four-panel, leather casings and pigs' bladders. These men were also known for their shoe and rugby boot making!!!!!

A rugby ball is a style of football that originated from rugby ball in the United Kingdom. It is seen most prominently in two current sports, rugby league and rugby Union ( with the rugby world cup being hosted here in NEW ZEALAND ), and has influenced the development of others such other footballs like NFL ( American Football ), Canadian Football and AFL, Australia rules football, you’ll find that their balls are much, much smaller!!!

Rugby Union and American Football ( NFL ) are two VERY, VERY different sporting games!!!!! For starters, both sports are played on a field that is roughly 110 metres which is 120 yards long and about 50-55 metres wide, with the rugby field being slightly wider. Across the field, there are lines painted to indicate the different boundaries. These lines are about ten metres and yards apart from each other.

WARRIORS vs STORM!!

This week on Sunday the vodafone WARRIORS will be taking on the Melbourne STORM!!!!! With out a doubt this will be a cracker!!!! It will be third versus seventh, with the STORM in third place and the WARRIORS in seventh!!!!!

The WARRIORS have recently had three consecutive losses. As you know the WARRIORS are looking to snap a three game losing streak, and there will be no other way than to do it with the WARRIORS being at home at Mt Smart Stadium. Going into this game the WARRIORS will have a lot of hope after defeating this star-filled team in the ANZAC day battle, 18-14 at the STORMS home ground of AAMI park!!!

If both teams look to win this game they first of all need to shut down the fowards, but most of all for the WARRIORS, shut down the three best players of the game, Cooper Cronk, Cameron Smith and Billy Slater!!!!! In saying that..... ' GO THE WARRIORS '

Reds vs Crusaders highlights!!!!

On Sunday night there was a MOUTH-WATERING super 15 clash between the Queensland reds and the Canterbury crusaders!!!!! This match lived up to expectation as there was a 50 000 crowd sell out. And also for the kiwi team super All Black Dan Carter and also All Blacks captain Richie McCaw were back. Both of the teams ran onto the field and for both there was a MASSIVE ROAR!!!! So how would this game turn out??????

RRRRRR!!!! The whistle blew and the Crusaders had an awesome penalty kick to open the score card. 3-0 to the kiwi team. Immediately it was a force to be reckoned with when the reds hit back with a try to make the score 7-3. Although I am still debating that there was a forward pass or not!!! The ref didn’t see it!!! There were opportunity after opportunity to score but the defence was rock solid. Going into the sheds the score was 7-3 to the Queensland reds.

RRRRR!!! Again the whistle blew to signify the second half kick-off of the game!!! With the mighty crusaders kicking it off. the second-half was again hard going for the first seven minutes. Then the power of the Crusaders struck when Robbie Fruin set-up a try for 32 year old Joe Wheeler crossing over to make the score 10-7!!!! The defence from both teams held up rock hard until.... The reds scored the equalizer making the score 14-10 to the Queensland Reds. A penalty was blown for the Crusaders right in front of the uprights, an easy three points for Daniel Carter, and they were easily taken the score now was 14-13!!! It would take another 15 minutes before the score was once again cracked!!! Again Lazy defence from the reds gave Dan Carter a gifted three points!!! The score now 16-14. “ OH NO!!! “ These must of been the words of the Crusaders coach when there was a penalty given to the reds with one minute to go!!! Quade Cooper took his chance and....The goal was hit!!! The crusaders tried the short kick-off but it wasn’t enough!!! The final score 17-16 to the Queensland Reds!!

And did you that if it wasn’t for the famous painter himself Mr Leonado Da Vinci helicopters might not of been designed for about another 50 years when tecnology was better improoved!!! So thanks!!

YOUTH PRIDE HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHT!!

“RRRRRR” The whistle blew as our leading mentour Mike gathered everyone for our first youth pride holiday programme since Last year in December!!! It was a good time to catch up on things!!!! I was so eager to play more games but, we split up into two groups, boys and girls and were forced to introduce ourselves so that we got more courage for when speaking up front. Finally this little ( so called activity ) was over!!! Ready and split into 4 groups our day was set. I was in group three ( called Price Tag ) with Aidan and Nathaniel and I had a fair Idea of what to expect....FUN!!!!!

Our first team activity was set, but sadly it was on of my worst....’ The Shape game’. In this game Mike ( the programme runner ) would call out either letters or shapes to make. our first shape was an H and quickly followed by a capital Q!!! We aced through this activity only to be faced with some of the hardest shapes ever.....First up a car!!!!! We didn’t finish first but that didn’t bother us because this time we had to have good presentation!!!! It was time to mark us and we had a funny window wiper connected and got an extra 50 points!!! 150/100 and no suprisingly we won!!!!!! Secondly we had to make a church!!! Again extra points for good detail, after adding a door to our church!!! Again a win!!! 4 out of 4 in this challenge!!!

“ YAHHHH” the voices of the kids shouted when we were given the news that it was free time!!! So me and Matthew ( my best friend ) picked up a basketball and played around the world. I started dozing off when Matthew started creaming me!!! So as a sore loser I walked away and played to with another school friend of mine Dominiq. Matthew joined and we played an enjoyable game of touch!!! “ Lunch in five minutes” Mike explained!!! Boy was hungry!!! But we still had a game of touch to finish!!! The was five tries all!!! Beau put up a kick for Lepa and.... It was a try!!! Sadly I was on the losing side. But on the positive side we still had fun!!! “Man I’m hungry!!” I groaned......

All lined up in in our four teams it was time for lunch!!!! Team by team we entered the kitchen to receive our food!!! On the menu was sausage sizzles and fish burgers!!! “ Mmmmmm” I had already one skofed down my stomach and I was bound to have seconds!!! I was waiting for Mike to call out for seconds!!! “Line up if you want seconds!!!” I pushed my way to the front with my stomach still eager to digest more food!!! I took an AWESOME fish burger and then I was slightly full!!!! With the programme about to wrap up again, I had one more shot at goal and straight over!!!!!

With out a doubt this holiday programme was the best that I’ve been to!!!! sadly we wont see each other until December this year!!!! This has been the best two weeks of my life!!! “PLEASE COME BACK SOON YOUTH PRIDE!!!!”

This term in Maths, we have been learning about Translation in Geometry. Coming into this activity of translation I had no idea of what it meant!!! But now I do!!!! Translation means to move the object with out rotating it or resizing it or re-drawing the object. Translation is all about moving things. In this example, we had to make a grid to show what Translation means. I drew to reptangles in a two by two shape formation!!!! It can go in so many places to the right side!!!!! ENJOY!!!

TORNADO ERUPTION!!!!

Yesterday there was a DESTRUCTIVE tornado that struck the innocent citizens of Albany in the North Shore district at around 3.00pm. Enormous winds that flew at 200/kmph and tore roofs off houses and lifted trucks and cars off the very ground. There has already one fatility with an innocent man getting trapped in these FIERCE WINDS!!!! And also multiple injuries to 10-15 people!!!

My Picnic recount!!!!

Already my legs were pushed to its ‘BREAKING POINT!!!’ and we were only halfway down the track of the Point England reserve!!!! I was releived as much as my heart could get when the picnic grounds were in my sights!!!! “ YAH “ I thought as we settled into our picnic enviroment!!! “ At Long last, no more pain the long, but short to some walk is finally over!!!

As Mr Burt explained the rules for this fun day my first thought was to play cricket. “BORING!!!”
I quietly whispered to myself. I thought that Mr Burt said the this was going to be a quick five minute talk once we arrived there. It went on and on!! But at long last it was a sigh of relief when we knew that it was time to go “WILD” and “CRAZY!!!” But as usual the intermediate block had to find a good spot. My hopes of having an “ ULTRA AMAZING!!!” time was shattered, That was until.......

I stick to what I say and I’m going to do, and that I did!!! Already I was in the midts of an AWESOME game of cricket!!!! “These people are better than I intended!!!! I thought that I would easily bowl them out, but they put up a competative fight!!!!! I thought that I should have bowled harder balls , but yet they were still hitting the ball and finding a way to run. Inside I was ‘CRANKY’!!!! But I knew not to give up and also to fight on and my chance to bat would come.....And you know what, I did!!! And literally SMASHED the ball for MILES!!!!!

The end of the day was upon us. It was time to make our way back to school. A long walk was ahead of us after such a great day!!!!!!1

MY AWESOME CAMP REFLECTION!!!

In a funny way I expected more of camp TC!!!! I didn’t know that our camp was at school I thought that It was gonna be fun and in the bush now that we are year 7/8. Well that was until miss explained that it was here at our very school. As we did in year 5 and 6 we would have been rollerblading, rock-climbing and bowling!!!! But that fun entertainment was saved for another day.....

Day 1 of camp TC kicked of with a hour and a half activity rotation!!!! Kayaking, team building, Mr Harris’ fun game, tent pitching with Mrs Nua and Hangi prep with Miss Tito!!! First up we had to do team building with Mr Barks and it certainly was one of my hardest activities to conquer!!! Secondly was Tent pitching to make our own special tent!!!!! Funnily enough this was one of my easiest activities!!!! And last we had Kayaking my MOST FAVOURITE...... Kayaking!!!! This year we had new kayaks.....sit on versions of an origanil ones!!! First impression you’d think that it it would be hard to control just looking at it!!!!

Finally the funnest nit of the day.... ‘MOVIE NIGHT’!!!! There was a range of a selection to choose from including Toy story 3, Dispicable me and willo!!! But Lucky for some, the rugby league NRL game was on between the Tigers and the Bulldogs!!! I went on to watch for my second time, Toy story 3 because I never heard of the other ones!!! EVER!!!

After a poor loss to the wests tigers, the Vodafone Warriors have yet again another hard game in the making as they go head to head against the reigning 2010 premiers the St George Illawarra Dragons!!!!! Altough the Dragons recently last night lost to the Cronulla Sharks 16-10 in a poor game they are still a tough team after winning the world club challenge to Super League premiers St Helens 21-15!!!! And on the other hand the WARRIORS!!!! Coming off the back of two losses first going down 24-18 againts the Parramatta Eels and last week 20-12 to the wests tigers!!! ( Which they should of won!!!! If you live in NZ you might be able to go to this game which will be played at Mt Smart in Auckland NZ!!!! Hopefully the warriors can record their first win of the season!!! WARRIORS vs DRAGONS........ 'GO THE WARRIORS!!!!'

Here is a vicious game in the making as the MIGHTY vodafone Warriors look to topple the Wests Tigers. The Warriors have three changes to their team who recently lost to the parramatta eels. Kevin Locke comes in for the injured Glen Fishiahi'i , Isaac john come in for the suspened Jame Maloney and New Signing Krisnan Inu come in for the injured MANU 'THE BEAST' VATUVEI!!!!! Our biggest loss I think. You can catch all of the action from 10:00 pm N.Z time....and 8:00 ( NSW and VICTORIA) Australia time!!! On Saturday the 19th of March 2011 live from Leichart oval in Sydney Australia. Hopefully the three changes in the warriors team can DOMINATE the FIERCE tigers pack. My AWESOME camp TC reflection!!!

Already camp TC is over and it was a bit of a BLAST!!!!! My highlight was ROCK UP, because it had CLASSIC games such as Archery.... Rockclimbing .....The alligator alley ( Which we were the first team to complete it )... Snowboard challenge.... and my Favourite..... the DUNKER!!!!

I really enjoyed the dunker because it had rotations that were fun in every way!!! And you Didn’t get tired of them!!!!

The most valuabale lesson that I learned is that..... If you bother tired people they can get really grumpy and won’t Co-operate together but if people have enough sleep you will get along!!!!

Today is the first ever day of the year 7 and 8 camp TAKE CHARGE!!!!! I am in an Amazing team named in the THINKERZ!!! Already we have done Team Building, Hangi prep, Team Dance night practice, and my FAVOURITE da da da da.....KAYAKING!!!!

The Kayaking activity was a bit hard but considering my experience, I was under way in no time!!! The wind was calm and me and my mate Lepa were burning through the wind in our little double Kayak!!!! Due to our principal being in a boat at the time shock waves off his boat rebounded into us and we went FLYING!!!!

HOW TO PITCH A TENT STEP BY STEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A list of equipment!!!
1. Unpack the Essential tent equipment which includes hammers, pegs, guy ropes and fibre glass poles which will make the structure of the tent!!!

1.Well the first step is to pull out all of the equipment that you need to build it!!!
2. ?Then unfold the base and frame of the tent flat onto the ground and you need to insure that the entrance to the tent is the right way
3.Then put in the metal pegs at a 45 degree angle and hammer the pegs down hard in to the ground!!!
4. Then with your hands get out the fibre glass put them in to the ground and slightly bend them and tie a bow onto it!!!
5.Then put the fly on top of the tent so that it can maintain its stability of its structure during high winds in the night!!!
6. And that is how you build a tent.

My Holiday Highlight!!!

Recently the Christmas national holidays have passed and I've just returned from Rotorua. On one cold Tuesday afternoon of these holidays, me and my cousin Taine headed down to the local pools. We slipped on our trunks and started having a pieceful swim, that was until the piece was broken and we started doing some bombs and staples!!!!!!

After a while we decided that it was time to go CRAZY and we started swinging on the tarzan rope they provided and started having turns on the running rocket!!!! “ Yeah we made it to the end then off the end we started doing MASSIVE Bombs, staples and gorillas!!!!” After about an hour or so we decided to cool down and go into the spa pool, but as crazy as we are, we done bombs and staples.That was literally the only way to drive people out of the spa.

Not long after there was a bombing competition. And, Because my cousin Taine lives in Rotorua he knew most of the boys who entered. As so, I entered but I was no match for a few boys. Out of all the boys there was a stand out star named Mavrick he ACED the bombing contest and prooved he could do bombs about 20 to 30 metres high!!!!!! “ All I could say was literally nothing” Then finally the bombing comp was over and me and my cousin thought that it wouldn’t hurt if we had one final turn on the tarzan swing and the running rocket!!!!!! Then at last it was time to go, so my dad picked us up we were on our way home.

Well day two of mine and my cousins incredible week kicked off at the blue lake at Rotorua. Yet again a swim. Our first thought was go out to the plontoon, and so we did. “Up to this day I still don’t know why it is so deep out where the plontoon is. Its a good 10-15 metres deep. But still it is fun out there. And because me and my cousin are adventurous and crazy, we made a risky decision to swim underneath it and swin to the other side. “ pheww risky but fun is what I had in mind!!

With the sun searing down on us at a blistering 31 degree hot temprutere me and my cousin decided to take our swim to the extreme!!!!! Knowing that it was a Risky thing to do for the extremeness, we Swum the length of the 15 metres to the bottom and touch the ground!!! “ Intense moments were on us as we struggled to capture at least a drop of air but then...... Yah we made it. “ Pheww I thought when I got that air I desperatly needed!!!!! And as so we done the routine again and again until it was time to go home!!!!!

"Ahhhh, the good old Abseiling activity, but for some, this should be designed for the con-course, Because it is a bit of De Jah Vu of fears.”. In just a few moments I was selected to take on this Monster first. With tons of experience in my back pocket of Abseiling I was, in the space of a minute at the top and ready for battle!!!

I can tell you that there was an AMAZING view of the Ocean. But that was shortly experienced for me as Camilla, ( The second instructor ) ordered me to face her. This was only so I could get this over and done with. I was honestly starting to stress when my shoes didn’t find any grip on the wall. But I overcame this and was enjoying myself. And no sooner I was halfway an ready to jump the rest of the way.

Enjoying Myself was my task for the day, and that I was. I didn’t even need to pace myself while I was jumping the rest of the way. I had reached the bottom of the Wall and all I had thought was, “ Can I do it again???” There was hardly anything holding me back as I had the Urge to do it again. “ABSEILING

This game, without a doubt will be the BEST game of the four nations!!! Or will it???? This, I reckon will decide the winner of the Four Nations final. Both these teams have already advanced.And also, people say that if the World Champion, Kiwi's win this four Nations tournament, they will go to First Ranking in the WORLD!!!! But, the Big question is, Do you think they will????

Now, lets start with how these teams have gone so far in this tournament. First of all, the New Zealand Kiwi's. The World Champion Kiwi's Have played two games and won both!! First they took on the England Lions and won that game, 24-10. They had a second Opponent, The Papua New Guini Kulmuls. With out any surprises, the Kiwi's Dominated the game and won, 76-12!!!! WHAT A SCORE!!!!!!! And that is how the Kiwi's entered the four nations final!!

And next, the world ranked number team, the Australian Kangaroos!!! This MAGNIFICENT team were alongside the Kiwi's to be the HOT favorites for this tournament!!! Just like the New Zealand Kiwi's, the Kangaroos advanced to the final by Playing two games, and winning both!!! First of all they took on the Papua New guini Kulums at Parramatta Australia. Just as everbody predicted, the Kangaroos DOMINATED the game and won, 42-0. Secondly they had to take on the team they defeated in the final last year, The England Lions!!! And again the Kangaroos won the game, 38-14.

Oh, and we can't forget about the Curtain raiser of this game will be the Papua New Guini Kulums take on the England Lions!!! Sadly, both of these teams have lost their two opening games and the winner of this will finish third in the four nations!!!! Not much hype went into this game, But both these teams Want to finish third in this tournament!!! GO THE KIWI'S!!!!!!

On Saturday the 16th of October 2010 the New Zealand Nrl Kiwi's will go head to head with pacific Island Nation, Samoa. After backing the Kiwi's last year my mates, Joshua and Erene will be hoping that the strong pacific island team SAMOA will be putting on a hell of a Show!!!!! This game is going to be played at the Vodafone Warriors home ground of Mount Smart Stadium. Both teams will be looking to impress!!! Especially the Nrl Kiwi's. They will try and impress so they will be considered a threat in the four nations tournament this October!!!!!GO THE KIWI'S!!!!!!!

Meeting Kevin "The Hero" Locke!!!!!

WOW!!!! What an experience this was for me.....meeting The new and exciting roadrunner, Kevin Locke!!!! It was a great time for me. It was a thing to Remember. I Thought to myself as I met him " I could get famous because of this " But no. I'm still not. That's me,on the bottom left of the Photo.

Anyway, Kevin Locke is one HELL of a young performer and there is still a lot of talent to come out of him!!!! Kevin Locke ROCKS!!!!!!!!

Grand Opening of Eden Park!!!!

Intro -

Thrillingly, I had a once in a life time chance meeting sport legends like the Nrl Kiwis. I was tempted to just go to them and Give a hug. Also, something thrilling Seeing the New Zealand Blackcaps. I was More interested in the NRL Kiwis. I Hadn’t seen them in months and years.

Para 1 -

First of all in the beginning of the day I won a free rugby ball by passing the ball through the hole with out missing a single time. But for me no prize was won when I was on the scrumming machine, I reached a high score of 71.6 kilograms. One of the highest of the days. For me it was a good acheivement!!!!!!!

Para 2 -

A once in a life time opportunity was in the balance as the New Zealand Kiwi’s and Blackcaps were just centimetres away from me. Inside of me the tension was rising as I was up and close in person with NRL Kiwi’s Mr Magic Man, Benji Marshall. Also, on the scene was Blackcaps Cricket Legend Brendon McCullum. Of Course he introduced himself, so I didn’t wanna be an egg so I introduced Myself and asked...... “Can I Have a photo?”

Para 3 -
So the pheanominal moment of fame for me, meeting the New Zealand Blackcaps and the NRL Kiwi’s had passed. “What was left for me I asked?” There was a brief moment of silent than the little rascal, my brother, Gabriel came up with an idea. This was to go up to the top of the New Southern stand at Eden park. Believe me it was like being on the top of Mt. Everest!!!! But on the other hand it was such a view looking down to all the Auckland residents who turned out on a day to remember!!!!!

Para 4 -
Up until now I thought that there was nothing left on offer. My Dad literally ordered the whanau ( Family ) onto the Eden Park six Million dollar playing field. Dad took us into the New look changing rooms. It didn’t feel like an ordinary changing room. A Very huge suprise was moments away, as All Blacks Legends Christain Cullen and Shawn Pitzpatrick wait there and Sign my peace of paper I recieved as I entered the 60,000 seated stadium. There was no room for their signitures so I got them to sign my Arm. To my Amazment a man walked in to the changing rooms an fainted to the ground.

Conclusion- I wish that there is another day like this full of fun!!!!!!!!

Match of the year!!!!!

The Match of the year is in the Balance!!!! This year, these two teams have met in two BLOCKBUSTER Matches!!!! And on both occasions the Wests Tigers have come out the Victorious team. First of all in round seven when the Tigers came back from 22-6 down at half time to win 35-22. And not soon after we go to round fifteen where it was an AMAZING match with the Tigers winning, 18-8. But this time I think it will be a Different result. The Raiders will win because in round eighteen they were in position number twelve on the ladder and made the Finals. And also, the Raiders are the team in the finals with momentum and have won 10 of their past 11 games!!!!! That is an AWESOME RECORD!!!!! GO THE RAIDERS!!!!!!!!

A Cross Country narraitve

Ahhhhh, Good old Cross-Country.This will be a piece of cake!!!!!! These CHUMPS don’t know who they’re up against. Ah, There’s good old Jimmy Grimes, sitting there in the corner trembling in absolute FEAR!!! I was lucky enough to have the running pitch nice and hard. Anyway, I don’t need any luck!, I’ve come first Every year. BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!
“ Yeah Mate, I’m gonna win!!” I said to me best mate, Laurie Daley. “Ten year old boys, time to race” Our principal, Mr Russell Burt exclaimed. I was really RELAXED as I stood up to the Chopping board. ‘No feet in front of the line, and NO TRIP UP’S!!” Mr Burt strictly said. I didn’t need to put my in front of the line!! Perhaps I could stand miles back and still win. Mr Burts gong was raised and..........BAM!!! The Race was under way and looking around I could see the Pressure start to build on people!!!!!!
“I knew it, I’m miles in front of everybody, and surly I’m gonna win” I said to myself. But, in side me the pressure is building and I start to think I shouldn’t of been so Cocky or arrogant about winning the race. Also my HUGE appetite of my Breakfast is coming back to Haunt me as a stitch hits on me harder and harder. It didn’t matter because I’m absolutely gonna win. For sure!!!! As my stitch hit me even harder Jimmy Grimes had tightened the gap between He and I. As he gained territory and ground, That is Jimmy Grimes, The power of momentum were highly against me But I knew to soldier on and win!!!!
I had sighted the finish line but by now I had dropped to fourth place. Jimmy Grimes had led the way along with me two best mates, Laurie Daley and Darius Boyd. I only had a slim chance of winning the race because my arch rival, Jimmy Grimes was miles ahead. It felt like a shot of energy had come upon me and I could bear no more!!!” Time to charge” I said. I made an Amazing spurt, but it wasn’t enough to win. Jimmy Grimes took out the race and I finished third. Only Passing Darius Boyd. I thought that I would certainly win.BUT NO.......... I have learnt that from this race, If you think that you’re too good to win, you could suffer consequences like I did in this experience. BRING ON NEXT YEAR!!!!!

A Chance to Make The Top Four Against the Eels!!!!

This, for the Warriors is a do or die match, if they have any chance of making the top four and host a Semi-Final. But the Eels, on the other hand ( My uncle's favourite team ) will farewell the Workhorse himself, Nathan Cayless and say good by to three players who will go off to other clubs. And they are Kris Keating, Going to the Bulldogs, And the Kiwi's themselves, Krisnan Inu and Feleti Mateo, Both coming to the Warriors. YAH!!!!! Now back to the Warriors, It is not looking good for them as they will have a two hour flight to Australia in Parramatta Home of the Eels. This is what it all comes down to for both these MAGNIFICENT teams!!!!! It's simple. if the Warriors win than they secure a place in the Play-offs. Not only this week but also if the Warriors win against the Parramatta Eels in round 26 than they have a home Semi-Final. They'll finish in fourth place. Currently they're coming Seventh Place. A But on the other hand The Brisbane Broncos Are in Eighth place with 26 points. They need to win their remanding games against the Warriors ( My Favourite Team ) and the Raiders. On Sunday the 1st of August the Warriors had a spine Chilling match at Mt Smart stadium in Auckland!!!!! I was there and I can tell you it was sad that the WARRIORS lost but it was an all-round nail biting match!!!!! Come on WARRIORS!!!! What happened???? After five wins you lose two in a row. Not good enough. Its alright, I believe in you. GO THE MIGHTY WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!! A Narrow loss 28-20!!!!!

The Warriors are in eight and wish to stay there and go up on the NRL ladder and make the finals!!! I hope the WARRIORS defeat the Cronulla Sharks on Sunday!!!!!!

Term 3 Maritime mariners!!!!

I sat down on the floor in the hall. It was the first day of school for Term 2 and it seems to me like it would be a good and interesting topic this term. I looked around and saw another teacher called Mr Barkes, he was a Viking. The topic for this term was Mighty Mariners.

All of the teachers teams had to perform a play, skit or animation to give us students a little hint about this Terms Topic. All of the teachers did well, but out of all of them the best team that I liked was team 1. They did an animation and i thought that it was pretty cool. Their animation was about Kupe and how he brought the seven canoes to New Zealand Aotearoa. It was a good animation with a lot of detail and it was concise.

The Topic " MIghty Mariners" is a good topic we all can learn. I like watching sharkmen and lot's of channels on Animal planet so I am looking forward to this term. As I walked out of the assembly I wondered awaited for me later on in the term. At the same time I thought what "A MIGHTY ASSEMBLY".

On Sunday the 25th of July, My all time favourite team the Vodafone Warriors will battle the South Sydney Rabbitohs for a top four place on the ladder. While the Rabbitohs look to get back in to the top eight. ( They sit ninth on 20 points with the Eels ). If the Warriors win, not only it will be their 6th win in a row, they will go to second equal with the Wests Tigers and the Penrith Panthers on 26 points. With only 10 points separating the tenth place Parramatta and up to first place, it is a race to get into the top eight.

Both, South Sydney Rabbitohs and the New Zealand Warriors are desperate to win or tough consequences where the Rabboitohs might not make the top eight, where the Warriors could slip out of the top eight. As you all know my opinion, 'GO THE WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Dating back to 1000 years ago, the Eastern Polynesians people were the first ever to cross the southern pacific ocean and discove Aoteroa (New Zealand). These people were called the early maori. Their vessels were 15-20 meters longand normally it would have one hull, but sometimes have two or an out-rigger. Finally, Aoteroa (New Zealand) was found.

The Eastern polynesian people couldn't navigate on their own, so had a great sense of humor and had the stars to navigate them. They also followed birds in the day. Not many east polynesian people made it to New Zealand even though there were STORMY seas.

Sam Burgess is an AWESOME player for the Rabbits, as in Rabbitohs. He is one of only six people who are the odd ones from the super league who was born in England. His position is second-row, and HECK he is a mean tackler. Preferring to tackling I mean Sonny Bill-William shoulder bargers who now plays rugby in his home country, New Zealand. Back to Sam Burgess. If there was ANY team, currently in the NRL who have MEAN players if you take the Melbourne storm out of the equation, it would be the Rabbitohs. They have the talent of Issac Luke, Sam Burgess, John Sutton, Chris Sandow, Beau Champion and MUCH, MUCH MORE.....

Now, James Maloney. He is a MASTER goal kicker in the Vodafone Warrios ( My Favourite team) Just because he has missed 12 goals this year, he is kicking at 81 percent. James Maloney's position is halfback of Five Eighth. I rather prefer him at number six, five eighth. He has been a MEAN member in the halves with Lance Hohaia, Isaac John and Brett Seymour. In all this year, James Maloney has only missed one game due to injury, against the Wests Tigers. Currently due to James Maloney's inspirational 3 try and 8 goal win over the Brisbane Bronco's back in round 3. Even though it was ages ago, the Warriors are now on 24 points and in 5th place, and with out the win against the bronco's we would be on 22 points and, due to points differential, the warriors would be in 8th or ninth place. Thanks James Maloney!!!!!

Brent Tate has always been a legend since 2002 when he made his debut for the Brisbane Broncos. The year after in 2003 he made his State Of Origin debut for Queensland and scored two tries. LEGENDARY!!!!!

In the year 2008 he made his Vodafone Warriors debut and scored 11 tries that year. He recently, against the Canberra Raiders scored his 50th career try. Last year in 2009 he only played three games due to a season ending injury from his former club the Broncos. But this year in 2010 he has played 12 games but this time the season injury once again occurred when he collided with Dragons Second-Row Ben Creagh, breaking his jaw.

Sadly, he will not wear another Warriors jumper in his life because he is leaving to the actual competition wooden spooners the North Queensland Cowboys in 2011. To be honest, I actually think that the North Queensland Cowboys are going to win. They have the talent like, Matthew Bowen, Jonathan Thurston, Brent Tate, Antonio Winterstein and much more!!!

Visit to Rotorua!!!!!

Intro- After a treacherous , three hour ride to Rotorua was finally over, it was time to see my family. "YEAH!!!". Finally the wait to see my family was once again over. "Man, I haven't been in in Rotorua for months and it feels good the be at Home Sweet Home!"

Para 1- Always a pleasant treat for me is visiting my home town, Rotorua. Although I was born in Newcastle, Australia I spent my child-hood days in Rotorua and Auckland. Every holidays I've spent them in, you guessed it, Rotorua. There are many places I like to go like, the aquatic centre, Leisure World and so much more.....

Para 3- 'WOW' "What a huge mountain! Around where my Nan lives is a place where an old abandoned village once was. Well, its not much of a village, it just has torn down houses and hills made out of dirt. I call this a paddock. I go there when I have nothing to do because my koro ( grandfather ) just sits in the garage, sips his beer and reads a book. So I leave and go have fun at the paddock. I and my cousins do all sorts of things at the paddock like, make avalanches hit down the abandoned houses or go to the Waikete rugby club and do some tackles on each other.

Para 4- I like to see my Dad at his working place. He works, or should I say build a MAMMOTH of a building at the Rotorua Polly Tech down south. Its not usual that I see him so It is a huge treat for me to see him. (REALLY).

Conclusion- I hope for the best to just appear next time I go to my town I grew up in, Rotorua! What will Happen?????? Rotorua is honestly GREAT!!! The best of the best cities in the world!!

THE MOVIE BOY!!!!

'WOW' Was the only word going through my mind as this extravaganza movie ended. Right at the end was when I had a HUGE laugh when Rocky (Boy's brother stared at his dad ( Alimein) and asked him, How was Japan? Haha, You can have a laugh to.

It is a sad, sad but funny movie. A huge downer for Boy's or his real name Alimein is that his Mum had passed away, and his Nan was gone for like, literally a month meaning no one was at Boy's house to look after him. His Dad was sadly in jail. One Shocking evening, Alimein's Father ( Alimein ) pulled up in the drive way, and to Boy's amazement, his family was finally rich.

The only way to describe Boy is UN DESCRIBABLE!! Because there is lots of SAD parts and some bright sides to it.

If you haven't seen it than don't sit around. GO TO THE MOVIES AND WATCH IT!!!!!!!!!

STATE OF ORIGIN 2!!

Yes its that time of the year again, STATE OF ORIGIN TWO where it is a do or die game for New South Wales or they will be down with only three wins from the past five Years. Both they and Queensland have a very tough team to defeat!

If you would like to now see the team that will represent the New South Wales at Suncorp Stadium on the 16th of june 2010, then you are lucky! I will now tell you the NSW team for game two 2010. Fullback, the talented Jarryd Hayne, and on the left and right wings hold the very strong Joel Monnahan and Brett Morris. The centers hold Dragons pair Beau Scott and The Breath-taking Matt Cooper. The Halves are probably the best in a decade with Trent Barrett at Five-Eighth and he will be the vice caption and his partner in only his second ORIGIN appearance, Mitchell Pearce. A tough foward pack holds the likes of Luke O'Donnel ,Brett White, Trent Waterhouse and much more exciting people!!!

Caption, Kurt Gidley starts on the bench. 'WHAT A SHOCKER!!!!!' Any way, New South Wales are going to WIN!!!

Also, QLD (Queensland) have also have a very solid team. I don't want to say the team because I just can't stand them! 'STATE OF ORIGIN 2 WILL ROCK YOU!!' "GO NSW!!!!!!"

2010 Favourite teams!

All teams pictured are the most supported of the family I live in. Obviesly from older posts I mainly like the WARRIORS, but my Mother really supports the Gold Coast Titans.

Besides, My sister has not one, not two, but THREE favourite teams in the NRL 2010 competition. The Goald Coast Titans, Parramatta Eels and the South Sydney Rabbitohs who currently sit at fourth on the NRL ladder. While her other most supported teams have not done so good in 2010.

I mostly like the WARRIORS, Nah I'm just kidding. I am absolutely obsessed with The WARRIORS! Their back line is amazing. It has the talent of Lance Hohaia, Kevin Locke, Brent Tate, Jerome Ropati, Manu Vatuvei, James Maloney and Brett Seymour. "BRILLIANT BACK LINE!!!""I just love the whole seven of them.

'Did you know that Brett Seymour was once the bad boy of the whole NRL back in 2007.' I bet you didn't.

Last year these two dynamic players,all together scored a total of 42 tries in only 27 rounds. "AMAZING!!!!" They are twins and Josh is just minutes older. Brett Morris has just now reached a total of 67 career tries while his brother has just 49. Brett's team is now currently 1st in the competion while josh's now in tenth with 8 points.

"EXCITEMENT" is the only word to describe them as! They are just unbelievable! If this was to be the GRAND FINAL, St George Illiwarra and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the intensity will be "AMAZING!!!!" Obviesley I would want the Vodafone Warriors to make it in the GRAND FINAL but with the St George Illiwarra Dragons and The Canterbury Banks-town Bulldogs, the atmosphere will be THRILLING!!

This is why these two twins are currently my best players in all NRL..

On Friday the 28th of May my all time favourite NRL team the vodafone WARRIORS were walloped by the Wests Tigers, 50-6. "CRIKEY THATS A BIG SCORE!!" I never wanted to see this out come, but to be honest I reckon the Tigers should get all the respect they want.

By the way, a 50-6 score line. 'AMAZING!!' The WARRIORS did not at all deserve it. I reckon for the WARRIORS only two people stood out, Brent Tate and Kevin Locke. Come on WARRIORS, Improve!!!!!

Hokey Pokey

A huge wonder of the world for me was making a tantalizing delicacies called Hokey
Pokey,Mmm.....Hokey Pokey. Fat foods including sugar dissolved in just an instant along with Maple syrup which also dissolved, forming my long time favourite Hokey Pokey. But to top it off and taste experimentally food like. With these element type ingredients combined, this fancy food honestly looked like cow dun, but on the bright side it was frothed up lots and in just a blink of an eye, ready to eat.

"PEEVE....." A fart effect wafted in the air as masses of Hokey Pokey bursted out of the frying pan. This experience was insane!!!!! It was as if the Hokey Pokey limited to be eaten and at the same time burst out of the frying pan.

We went to the kitchen, stunned as we were in for a phenomenal suprise. We clicked when, in just a flash we would create a wonderful food treat, that involved volcanic like equipment or other things to do with that. We made a long time favourite of mine, Hokey Pokey.

Similar to lava, oozing hokey pokey can literally pot. 'WOW!!!!!!' Also it can become hard and brittle in just minutes.'AMAZING!!!!!' Pokey is scolding hot, which can probably melt a total human hand. That is scary but at the same time very very yuck.

On May 26th 2010 the first ever three dimensional Harvey Norman STATE OF ORIGIN will be held at ANZ stadium in Sydney, Australia. It will be an amazing phenomenon , that's for sure.

I will now tell you the New South Wales side for game one 2010, Fullback and caption Kurt Gidley. The two wingers are Jarryd Hayne and Brett Morris. The two Centers teaming up will be Timana Tahu and Matthew Cooper. Five-eighth is the one and only Jamie Lyon. His half-back partner has a lot of skill and he is Brett Kimmorley. The prop partners for game on are Josh Perry and Michael Weyman. A skill-full hooker will back them up and his name is Michael Ennis. Second-rowers are powerful Ben Creagh and Trent Water house. And finally Lock is Anthony Watmough. What a very strong side!

The Queens land team will be decided tonight. I just can't wait for the Queens land team to be named and for STATE OF ORIGIN to start!

Kiwis Four Nation Champs!

The NRL (National Rugby League) KIWIS are the champions of all Rugby League in the entire world until 2012 after winning the championship back in 2008. Last year in 2009, all the way in the UK (United Kingdom) the mighty KIWIS finished third in the four nations due to, only young debutant's who had no experience for playing for their country, which led to defeat against ENGLAND. From this the AUSTRALIANS to go on and beat ENGLAND in the Four nations final.

But this year every thing is different. The Four Nations will be held in New Zealand and Australia. A new country called Papa new Guinea will enter the competition and with out a doubt make a huge Impact as under-dogs. So all I have to say is GO THE KIWIS and win the Four Nations and prove to the world that you are the real WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

On Monday the 24th of May the, new extraordinary WWE event called Over The Limit will be taking over the every year annual event, Judgment Day. The matches at Over The Limit will be limited because the name of the event is called, Over The Limit. There will be thrilling matches, which John Cena vs Batista in a real brutal match for the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Champion ship.. And The worlds largest athlete the BIG SHOW vs the World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger, for The World Heavyweight Champion ship. And another thrilling match will take place when ex-tag team partners Randy Orton and Edge face of in a no Disqualification match.

What at a very extraordinary and fun filled day it was last week. IRON BRIEN came to Pt England School and enticed us kids to eat in a healthy way as he taught us about all the special food sources. It included the food likes of red and white meat. Here's a little tip for you, red meat has more iron than white. Also food sorts of cereals, bread, Dairy products and meat. And to top off the day we had a lovely IRON BRIEN BURGER. Mmmm! The Burger was really the highlight of the day because It was filled with red meat. As my legs ached with every step I took I knew that I was in for a very fun, but physical day out at Tamaki College with a very experienced campaigner, Mr Borland.It was like a blast from the past with three very enjoyable games.It was really the day of the week.

Game one:Game one brought the class joy and plenty laughter, as we were divided into four groups, formed a square and stick together while trying to run where Mr Borland went.(CRAZY).We were very hyped up because who ever stuck together and got in the most stiff line, got the most points, he would shout them Burger King.Mmmmm......my group went down as sour losers because we were very much embarrassed when we were whip by the girls.But on the bright side, it was still very fun to play.

Game two:With out a doubt this was the most desperate game to finish!The point of the game was to get to the other side of the Tamaki College gym using small little benches.BUT.Oh yes there is a big but involved.The class was not to touch the floor because, we acted as though the floor was the ocean and there were vicious sharks and were ready to attack!We failed several times, than after 35 minutes of failure we finally succeeded.We were really not acting as a team.

Game Three:'OCTOPUS' I just loved it how there was lots of injuries and giggles going around the building.The class was in a bit of a struggle, and the reason why that was 'cause our campaigner Mr Borland was in the middle along with his assistants.There was about five of them.But I was such a champ because I never gave up and got to the bottom four."YEAH" I thought until I was tug on the foot.But it was only a little nick.But sadly I felt it and at that moment i knew I was out.

We really had a fun day I will never forget.

Wicked Experiment with Ms Crowther

WOW! I thought when a most shocking experiment took place as hot water was mixed with cold.The point of this was to see if hot water was mixed with cold.We witnessed that if hot water was to be mixed with cold water the hot water would come up like a volcano, and not down.What a THRILLING THING!

As well as this thing was shocking enough, it was still a very, very exciting and fun thing to do.I glazed right towards the vase and every moment it would be fulling up every second.(It looked similar to a shark attack a human with they're blood scampering in the ocean).I was just absolutely stunned!

There was a second experiment that was held and it was pretty crazy, and the reason why this is because the only object was a Mars bar.I thought to myself "How crazy does this teacher think she is?"It was just insane until.......We heard what she had to say.We were to snap the bar in-half and see all the caramel pop out.The class ripped it open than...."Ohh look at mine, Look at mine"All kids said.This experiment was to look like magma popping out of a crater on a volcano.

The best thing about experiment number on was that I got a chance to witness what a volcano would most likley look like.And probably the number one thing I liked about experient number two was that got to eat some tantalizing Mars bars.Mmmmmmm!

Volcano Art phenominal

For the past couple of weeks room 17 have been painting some amazing silhouette pictures of volcanoes. I have put an example of these silhouettes with a picture of me. We were told to be as imaginative as we could and I got out of it a thing like this. (I think it wasn't too bad even though we used pastels and paint)

On the 16th of April of 2010 Room Seventeen of Pt England were told they had a very hard task ahead of them as they had to create a picture of a volcano.We weren't to make any old picture, we had to design a type of painting called the silhouette. This is a type of painting which, in words is probably something at night. For example a tree at night which is heavily faded, actually black in colour just like my volcano.

It was honestly a very hard mission to complete. First of all we had to make a design. Secondly we were to paint colourful colours to suit the sky as a background. Third of all, we were required to let it dry over Lunch time. Fourth, we had to paint an outline of the volcano in black and coluor it with the same colour, Black. For the fifth and last task we had to go over ash with pastels and make lava flows with once again, pastels.

I really liked making these silhouettes because we got really dirty of paint and pastels.

Active Earth Term 2

For term two Pt England school are learning about volcanoes and how they are formed.

I didn't know anything about volcanoes or anything do to with them. So far on the first day of term 2, I have learned about shocking things what a volcano can do during a devastating eruption. It takes down anything that is in its path!

Inside a volcano is a chamber that keeps all the magma inside it so that it dosen't burst out. Magma, when it erupts is actually lava that is pressured inside the volcano until it steams out as fast as a train.

Also for this term we are learning about Earth quakes and Tsunami's which are two very similar things because they DESTROY anything!!

I am really looking forward this terms theme and things that are involved. And that is why we are learning about, ACTIVE EARTH!!!

HOORAY ITS MUFTI DAY!

Today is the day we can dress up as movie stars and any other clothes. Fun is upon us as there will be a magnificent disco and lunch special Sausage sizzle. These things are really FUN! as well as there will be camp kindness camp awards. How amazing is that? It is excellent.

Eight of my best friends I've ever known are in this picture. From the Left is Erene, Aidan,Shawn,Joe,Matthew T and down the bottom row once again from the left Matthew R,Me (Kayde) and Jeyan. We look like a great bunch of kids when we are together. Especially in Mufti.

Destructive Chiefs!

In 2009 the all mighty chiefs came runners up for the grand Final. What an achievement!But this year I reckon that the can make to the final once again, but this time wins.It is already round eight and six rounds to go for the top four team finals.

Early Maori Food Sources

Before any Europeans came to New Zealand there were many different thrilling ways to trap birds or any meat. All had many TRICKY obstacles of how to kill food. If you would find out how these were produced you will be absolutely stunned! If you travelled back in time to 1706 and further than you would have lots of training missions until killing food. Treaty Signing.

On the sixth of February three English chiefs got on their HMS rattle snake ship and set sail to New Zealand to sign a very special treaty that meant a lot to the maori people. One chief was as keen as anyone to sign this treaty and his name is Hone Heke. To find out about the treaty tune into my movie and enjoy!

Camp Kindness

What an exhausting three days of sleepless Pt England school camp. I just witnessed for the second year running. When I got home I tried to drag all my body weight inside, so I could prove to my Mum that all camps are technically not easy to conquer all the activities.''WOW! Camp Kindness absolutely rocked!!!''

The group I was in , was called the "SOUL SQUAD" and our first activity was Ten pin bowling.As we headed towards this breath-taking game it was like a zoo, with people so excited screaming their heads off! (Yeah I'm gonna win)It was finally time to see who was actually the best of the best! I was honestly up against some pretty tough guys in my group,Erene, Joe,Nikora and Nezinli.

Finally, we were under way with people already smashing Pins, thrilling strikes and spares. But on the other hand my group were just desperate to continue but there was a bit of a delay with our lane gone out of order."NO!!!"There was a very talented engineer down at the end Who walked at the of the lane sorting out the problem. The game was once again back under way,SMASH "STRIKE" screamed Erene.We were coming to the end of the game and it was a blazing finish when me and Erene tied up 83 all. But luckily, he only took the victory by one pin. What a game!

Now we reached the second day of camp with people frantically screaming their heads off with all the breath they had in their lungs "ORIENTEERING"(yeah). I had a very much experienced partner, Erene, my leader. Both he and I were paying close attention to Mr Jacobson and followed all the steps he announced. We were as keen as any one in the team that we would ace this brain-teasing challenge.

Do-do-do-do. As the trumpet struck as loud as it could the game began with people frustrated trying to discover the letters."Hey bro I can see it, its a K". Once again we heard the one sound of the hooter about one hour later after only listing down 23 out of 27 letters . Sadly no one in our team came back with the correct answer. There were many thrills in this energetic activity with partners getting so close to figuring out the correct answer for this trivia. Well Done Kayde, Very Good

As we entered the final day of school camp I was traumatised knowing that we would end our three day journey, but there was a glimpse of hope when I found out all kids would be going to Swim-a-rama for the day. "HOORAY"!! I thought. There was many amazing sites after witnessing pupils of camp who died to represent the school for the Pt England swimming team of 2010. SPLASH! After waiting for a super long time, all the kids breathed a sigh of relief once entering this cold, cold pool."YAH"(at long last the wicked hydro slide was opened for kids to enjoy them-selves) That was the most invigorating walk up a pair of stairs in a long,long time I thought.

ZOOM flying past on the hydro slide went kids. All the time the hydro slide was at worked for literaly the whole day we were there. Time really flew past when, having fun in paradise (Swim-a-rama).

Next year at school camp I wish for more magical activities and plenty more fun.
